Silent Reading / Oct.2025 Pairs,FR

Silent Reading is a photographic project that reinterprets the imagery of tarot cards. It takes “reading” as its central theme, not as a linguistic act, but as a visual, emotional, and intuitive form of interpretation. Each photograph corresponds to a tarot card, yet the work removes the function of divination, preserving only the tension between image and symbolism.

Through the interplay of silence, gaze, and symbol, the series explores the relationship between fate, coincidence, and self-projection. As the photographer “reads” these images, they are also silently reading themselves, reflecting inner perception and the subconscious through visual form.

Silent Reading is both an act of seeing and a dialogue within. Each frame feels like an interrupted dream, blurring the boundary between reality and metaphor, inviting the viewer to search for their own answer in the quiet.
