Even as the world seemed to be ending, people remained preoccupied with seeking pleasure—a thought that struck me during the pandemic of 2020-2021. With endless waste overwhelming the planet and people oblivious to the harm they inflict upon themselves, I was inspired to create a multifunctional garment — In collaboration with Adidas China by using their dead stock to create a ‘party suit for the end of the world’. This piece aims to ironically underscore the critical importance of protecting our Earth.
